When You’re Tired of Holding It All, But Don’t Know How to Let Go | Whispers from the Edge
Issue 3 | Vol. I
Welcome to Whispers From the Edge, my friend!
A monthly soul-letter for the in-between places.
Whispers From the Edge is a quiet series for tender thresholds and sacred transitions - for the moments when you’re not quite who you were, and not yet who you’re becoming.
These are gentle reflections from the liminal spaces - the pauses, pivots, and soul stirrings that defy definition. There are no clear answers here. Only presence. Only truth. Only a hand to hold at the edge of what’s next.
You are not alone in the in-between.
Come sit with me. Let’s listen to what’s whispering there.
If this space speaks to your soul, you’re warmly invited to subscribe and receive each new letter as it arrives.
And whether you subscribe or simply pass through now and then, thank you for being here. Your presence in The Garden is felt and cherished.
Hello beautiful soul,
You don’t have to explain yourself
If you’re here reading this… quietly, maybe even tearfully… know this first:
You don’t have to explain.
You don’t have to apologize.
You don’t even have to respond.
I see you.
I see the weight behind your smile, the ache behind your stillness, the silent scream behind your “I’m fine.”
The exhaustion of carrying more than you were ever meant to hold.
The mental loop of wondering how long can I keep going like this… without breaking something precious—my family, my body, myself?
You are not crazy.
You are not lazy.
You are not failing.
You are simply in a place so few speak of and even fewer are equipped to walk through with you:
The in-between.
The sacred space of becoming
This is the place between identities… between the self you’ve outgrown and the self you haven’t quite met yet.
It’s the spiritual hallway between closed doors and unopened ones.
And it’s one of the most sacred, vulnerable, and misunderstood places a soul can land.
Because nothing makes sense here.
You’re not where you once were, but not yet where you want to be.
You feel too much. You know too much. You long for too much.
But you still get up.
You still show up.
You still hold space for everyone else, even when there’s barely any left for you.
And I want to say this as gently and clearly as I can:
You are not broken. You are breaking open.
It’s not failure… it’s fatigue
The frustration you feel? The doubt? The bone-deep tiredness?
That’s not weakness.
That’s the nervous system running on low after years… maybe even decades… of being in “keep it together” mode.
You don’t lack faith.
You lack space.
Space to be held.
Space to be heard.
Space to finally say, “I don’t want to do it like this anymore.”
You are not failing because you don’t have it figured out.
You are not behind because you’re struggling to smile.
You are not ungrateful because you want more than survival.
You’re allowed to want more
If your soul is whispering, “There has to be something more than this…”
That is not your betrayal of the life you’ve built.
That is your becoming trying to make contact.
You are allowed to want more than exhaustion and obligation.
You are allowed to want softness, silliness, sacred space that’s just for you.
You are allowed to want freedom… not just from your schedule,
but from the self you had to be to survive.
You don’t have to earn your way back to joy.
You don’t have to prove your pain to be believed.
You don’t have to know the next step to take the first breath.
A Truth Worth Repeating
You are allowed to want freedom.
Not just from your schedule.
Not just from your obligations.
But from the self you had to become to survive.
Let that land.
The one who silenced her needs to keep the peace.
The one who kept performing “okay” to stay safe.
The one who made herself small, invisible, or hyper-capable just to be accepted.
The one who carried everyone else while quietly falling apart.
You are allowed to want freedom from her.
Not because she failed you…
But because she saved you.
And now?
🌿 You don’t need a survival self.
🌿 You’re ready for a sovereign self.
So let’s say it again… like a soul declaration:
🔥 I am allowed to want freedom.
🔥 Not just from my schedule, but from the self I had to be to survive.
And babe?
That want...
That whisper…
That’s not selfish.
It’s sacred.
If all you can do today is whisper, “I’m so tired…”
“I’m so tired…”
That’s enough.
Because that whisper is sacred.
That whisper is a spell.
That whisper is your soul’s way of saying:
“I can’t carry this by myself anymore.”
That’s not giving up.
That’s giving it over… letting it go.
To grace.
To Spirit.
To your future self who already knows you will make it through this.
To the version of you who is waiting just on the other side of surrender, arms open, ready to welcome you home.
Come sit with me awhile
You don’t have to rush, my friend.
You don’t have to fix.
You don’t have to perform your healing.
You only have to let yourself be held.
There’s no pressure in this space.
No performance.
No “positivity bypass.”
Only presence.
Only truth.
Only love.
Let this be your breath.
Let this be your pause.
Let this be your reminder:
You are not alone in the in-between.
We are many.
And we are walking each other home.
Come sit with me, beautiful one. There’s space beside me on this edge.
Let’s listen to what’s whispering here.
A Gentle Practice: The 3-Minute Presence Reset
If you feel like your world is spinning and your soul is asking for stillness, try this gentle, 3-minute practice. It’s not a ritual. It’s not performance. It’s simply presence… an invitation to soften.
You don’t need a quiet room.
You don’t need the perfect moment.
You only need yourself.
The 3-Minute Presence Reset
Step 1: Anchor the Body
Place one hand on your heart and one on your lower belly.
Feel your breath move beneath both. No need to deepen it. Just feel.
Step 2: Whisper the Words
Say softly to yourself, either aloud or silently:
“I don’t need to fix this right now.
I am allowed to be here as I am.
I am safe to feel. I am safe to rest.”
Step 3: Choose One Sensory Grounding Anchor
Ask: What is one thing I can smell, taste, see, or touch that soothes me?
It could be:
A warm cup of tea
A textured stone or crystal
The scent of lavender or something grounding
A single candle flame
Let your body feel supported by something real. Even for a few moments.
That’s it.
You’ve just offered yourself more presence than most give themselves all week.
And that presence changes everything.
When You’re Ready for a Sacred Pause...
If you’re longing to be witnessed… softly.
If you’re craving a space that doesn’t rush to “fix” or prescribe...
If you want to be held with reverence, without needing to explain why you feel the way you do…
You are warmly invited to book a Sanctuary Session.
This is a 30-minute, pay-what-feels-good soul offering.
Not coaching. Not therapy. Not strategy.
Just presence.
Companionship.
A sacred pause point to remember what is still steady within you.
✨ One candle lit in the dark can make the whole room softer.
✨ One breath shared in love can steady the soul.
If that’s what you need right now, my hands and heart are open.
Your presence is the gift. The exchange is grace. Both are welcome here.
