Hello beautiful soul,
Lately, I’ve been sitting with what it means to “become.”
Not the polished kind. Not the “ta-da!” kind.
But the kind where you’re in-between. Where you're not who you were, not yet who you're becoming… but still deeply you.
I’ve felt this truth rise as I navigate my own changes lately… shifting roles, releasing identities, and learning not just how to rest, but how to let rest become sacred.
My nervous system is still recalibrating from years of responsibility and survival-mode mothering. Even now, I can be centered and flowing… until a single message from one of my children pulls me back into old patterns of over-functioning and worry.
I catch it faster now, yes, and I return to myself with more grace.
But that feeling… like I’m somehow broken or not doing “healing” or even, mothering of adult children “right”… It still flares up sometimes.
If you’re in this space too… learning how to reclaim your rhythm, to rest without guilt, to live gently and still stand in your truth, you’re not alone.
We, my friend, are not behind.
We’re not broken.
We’re just… becoming.
A truth I’m anchoring this week:
“I no longer rush to fix what was never mine to carry. I no longer ask permission to be seen. I am not who I was, and that is sacred.”
A journal prompt for the soul-led:
“What part of me is asking for space to breathe in this in-between?”

Sacred Updates from the Garden
📵 Off-Grid from June 9–16
DW and I are taking some time off together and with our family next week. I’ll be fully unplugged and offline from June 9th through June 16th. The Garden will still be here, growing in quiet rhythm, and I’ll return with new energy soon.
